    Players killed in Port Said

.The Egyptian football community is in mourning after Marek player Mahmoud Abd Al Halem and Al Masry former goalie Tamer Fahalawas were killed in the ongoing Port Said violence.
More than 30 people have been killed in Port Saied since Saturday in clashes between various factions and the security forces. This started after an Egyptian court sentenced 21 people to death relating to the initial football disaster during a game with Al Ahly that caused 74 their lives.
Die-hard soccer fans from both teams, known as Ultras, hold the police at least partially responsible for the Port Said deaths and criticise Egypt's president Mohammed Morsi for doing little to reform the force.
Al-Ahly Ultras in particular have been at the forefront of protests. But anger is also boiling in Port Said, where residents say they have been unfairly scapegoated.
” Abd Al Helem just joined our team a few months ago and was sadly killed on his way to team training” Marekh chairman Morsy Sarhan told supersport.com.
“We will be in mourning for three days for our player who was fired upon despite being innocent. People have to accept what the court has decided or there will be no return to normal life and football.” Sarhan added
