Stoke have made a shock move to take Arsenal's England right-back Carl Jenkinson on loan. But Arsene Wenger is reluctant to let the 20-year-old leave, even on a short-term basis.
West Ham have had a £1.75m bid rejected for Montpellier defender Henri Bedimo. The 28-year-old Cameroon international left-back can also play in midfield.

Juventus are set to sign the former Chelsea striker Nicolas Anelka from Shanghai Shenhua on a six-month deal with the option to extend his stay by a further year. The 33-year-old has been linked with a number of other clubs in the transfer window, including QPR.
Fulham have made a late enquiry for South Korea international left-back Yun Suk-Young, 22, who is due to join QPR pending a work permit.
Wigan are weighing up a loan move for Mexican striker Aldo De Nigris. The 29-year-old has won the Mexican League twice with Monterrey.
